Co-editor Myrto Drizou spotted the first (appreciative, cogent) review of our Freeman essay collection in Studies in American Naturalism! Freeman's questioning of monolithic whiteness is celebrated.

I reading a book about the philosophy of the home. It's written by a man, and 70% of titles in the bibliography are by men. With one chapter to go, there's not a single mention of housework. But he does talk about his penis.

Lots of nerves today, and it's unclear whether they stem from first day of Sixth Form for my son or me picking up an article in progress I haven't touched since January.
