Day 15 of #31days31womenwriters is Elizabeth Stuart Phelps (1844-1911). Many of her ghost stories appear in MEN, WOMEN, AND GHOSTS (1869). “Since I Died,” published in Scribner’s Monthly in 1873, is one of the most beautiful ghost stories ever written.
