My plan was to have it just underneath the surface so that it’d disappear. But with the grass unable to grow, it’s a failure on that. But the patch is the only bit of ground that the chickens don’t dig up, I’d think that a mole can’t come up through it either.

I have laid metal mesh (not fencing mesh) down on what was supposed to be a grass patch, to stop the chickens from digging it up, it does stop them (though they do eat it, while I was told they don’t). Could that also work to stop the mole? Although I suppose it would have to be under the grass.

For once the overall majority they have, will be an advantage. There’s a good chance for them to get the full term to get results. They will need at least 2 terms to clean up the mess, but if they do well now, maybe it will take the wind out of the right wing sails… (Hopefully not just in the UK.)

The 2 that were taken down some years ago, were hollow. They’re seriously compromised by the parasite. The branches that break off, are all dead at the ends where they spring from the tree. I’m all for preserving green, but these 3 really need to go.

Crazy storm! But half of the wood that came down, is dead. Those trees really are getting extremely dangerous, we’ve been fighting to get them taken down for years and they just get worse with every storm. The 2 they did take down were hollow! It’s so dangerous. 😠 This branch is about to break next…

Several branches of the trees in the back came down in the strong winds. One is huge, it just missed the sheds, part of it came down on the other side. And the council still keeps saying the trees are okay and refuse to take them down. 😬😫

Monday will be a long day, early start, long drive to Belgium for deliveries, one south of Antwerp and then on to Liège, back over the head office hub in Sittard (NL), for return deliveries.

Hectic day again. And the one day this week I decide to take the motorbike to work because I’m tired of the traffic jams, I get soaked in a rain shower and there’s no traffic jams. Ugh. 😣 Haven’t managed to catch up on my timeline here, no idea where to scroll back to. Sorry if I missed anything.

Twice I tried adding my own, but it was as never put online. If there’s something wrong with it, the least they could do is letting me know. They accept the entry and then I just never hear from it again. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s just a little scooter, I’d only have the plates and frame number cancelled and toss it in a bin at work, or place it in the garden as play ornament for the chickens. Have bad experience with giving away also - draws in the weirdest crowds. Not sure yet, just that I’m done with Marktplaats.

FB isn’t an option and I know nothing about eBay. In this case it’s a scooter though, so there’s car selling platforms that I can use. Or I might just take the loss and have it scrapped. Either way, this is draining me and ruining my already bad mood, it’s just not working.

Cycled a bit more than planned, by taking the long way on the way back. Made it to a total of 66 km of cycling and a few lovely hours in a sunny garden. One problem though - I did not think of the suncream and have severely burned my pussy. Amongst other things, such as my arms and head… 😳 #Oops 😹

First I figured I’d throw my car through the car wash before going to get my groceries, as I am supposed to have a subscription and can wash any time I want. But that didn’t work, again, it keeps on failing to read my license plate, despite numerous complaints, and it’s getting really frustrating.

I’m going over to a friend and decided to partially use the bike to get there. I’ll drive to the river ferry with the bike on the car bike rack and cycle from there. That’s the positive plans for today, as it hasn’t started very well at all, so far…

The chickens are quickly plucking the garden clean of plant life, I’m wondering if there’s cheap plants that I can buy and put out in the garden, for them to munch on? Right now they’re eating the weeds faster than it can regrow 😹 This is fine, but it’d like to offer them snacks next to their food.
