Listen, I have been watching for the last 5-6 years as the sex gets stripped out of the front-facing brand of romance with GREAT TREPIDATION. Social media advertising guidelines and plausibly deniable covers that appeal to non-romance readers/snobby bookstores... We're playing with fire here.

No romance author should EVER ignore this. I don't care if you think you're different from porn, throwing porn under the bus only greases its wheels so it can run you over next. If you write ANYTHING but very bland cishet romance you're first in line. But it will hit you eventually either way.

Mr. Bree & I got married in my childhood home on the coast of Maine, and every year my father offers to send us anniversary lobster. I told him last week would be too hectic, so today I am waiting for my box of live lobster, overnighted to me from Bangor, and man I CAN NOT WAAAAAIT.
