Sometimes thinking about dungeon crawlers is more fun than playing them haha. The new Wizardry remake is incredible but extremely convoluted. Before that the last one I remember liking was Crystal Rift on PSRV. Simple as rocks but nailed the vibe. Daggerfall is my genre fave, but it’s masochistic

Compared to Daggerfall or other “hardcore” CRPGs this game is much simpler/easy, and the graphics are stunning too. You sit through battle animations and there’s a lot of trading inventory between characters, but def not obtuse like similar PC games (but also not as deep). So far I’m charmed!

This game is like a perverse combination of Daggerfall and Shining Force. My whole life I saw the box and title and wondered wtf it was - turns out it’s completely sick

In America we often make fun of the silly ways British people say things (garage, aluminum, ordinary) but it’s their language - we are the ones that are wrong!
