Yes! I think both Gladstone & Belleau were stellar, and depict different expressions of their pain. Her despair, anger and fear mingled with hope is quiet, tight and intense. His pain and rage at the imposed helplessness and injustice wildly erupts and then turns inward. They were both so good.

It definitely made sense to Netanyahu, who continued to prop up Hamas as a way to keep the PA/Fatah in check, but it makes no sense to play games with a terrorist group and expect it won’t end in utter tragedy for everyone.

Yes! When people hear that you’re an “atheist” they assume it’s an activated state, assume you’ll be proselytizing or challenging their religious beliefs (or if not actually, than you’ll be *thinking* it). If that’s not how it is with you, it’s a misleading term based on the way it’s received.

(Egypt blocked some of the tunnel activity thru Bond villainy.) I bet no. It’s grim for Palestinians who are in Egypt now, who have no rights/benefits of citizenship, partly from PA (& now Hamas) pressure — they don’t want Palestinians to nationalize elsewhere as it detracts from “the cause.”

Egypt has that border with Gaza, with the 8 mile buffer zone — it’s largely closed to Palestinians which suits Hamas fine. I doubt Egypt would do anything that would lead to a more permeable border/more Palestinian refugees for lots of reasons (including fear of Iranian influence). But who knows rn?

I’m one of the Atlantans who signed the petition calling for a referendum on Cop City, and was doxxed by the city of Atlanta. My name, address, phone number & legal signature have been published online. But it’s not like there’s some threat of retaliation in that, or anything.

I think so. It’s very unique. It’s also the platform on which I feel the safest and least harassed or even eye-assaulted by nazi/nasty content. That wasn’t true 5-6 years ago, but they made changes so users can tailor that experience.

That reminds me, when I was a young child, my parents’ (only) word for vagina was “buzzwinkus.”And so it was mine for many years. I have no idea where they got it. They took the knowledge to their graves. But it was a friendly, saucy sort of word for it!
