Just got a media release that talks about temperature increases in percentage terms. Increase from 10C to 11C is described as a 10% increase. Very odd! I mean, if anything, it's more like a 0.35% increase (from ~283K to ~284K).

Yes climate change is terrible. But preparing for climate change is important. And so successes in that preparation - like the ticking off of recommendations on smoke, climate models, danger ratings, warnings - seem like good news. (Wouldn’t the alternative be not good?)
