ha, you are the 4th person who noticed this connection after our talk, and it's something we completely missed when working on the paper :) I think it's roughly equivalent to "on-demand" texture-space shading minus caching. Could be interesting to explore this connection more, great idea. :)

I asked ChatGPT a symbolic analysis math question, and it wrote sympy code, executed it in a Python interpreter, and described the answer in plain words - while I could see the code it generated and the explanation. 🤯 (Note: the paid plan is 100x better than the free version. 100% worth it).

I am mind-blown. You know the 10-minute YouTube "tutorials" where there are 2 minutes of real content scattered, and you need to hunt for it? Super annoying. Some websites allow you to download YouTube video transcripts. Then, you feed it to ChatGPT and ask it to summarize. Works really well. 🤯

Funnily, at Google, we had extreme limitations on all possible Camera metrics we collected. People doubt it, but we had a ton of care for anonymization, aggregation, and privacy - probably due to regulations. Impossible to identify a user. And here, someone stores my biological samples. O_o

Random thought: there is a single "universal" measure of professional success. Not salary, position, title, fame. But do people you used to work with want to work with you *again*? Not recommendations (can be bs), but if they go the extra mile to get you hired, you must be doing something right.
