I think a lot of people replace a true idea with a nearby but entirely false idea when discussing positive social media impact: (True) There are a variety of problems that cannot be solved by a lot of people online agreeing it's a problem. (False) Social media can't really change anything important.

Also apropos of it being disability pride month - another easy thing you can do to make your social media posts more accessible is to use camel case, effectively capitalising each word in hashtags. This is easier for everyone to read and can be processed by screen reading software.

Too right! I had to put off the gastro that's holding things up now because of the gynae clinic and this isn't even the first time I've had to do this 😂 I had to delay dermatologist treatment of an autoimmune skin disease because of delays in the gynae clinic. Complex chronic illness is just silly.
