Human beings are being bombed, shot, displaced, orphaned, enslaved, terrorized, silenced, harassed, arrested, and people are going about their day. The conversations around me tell me they’re fine not knowing. I don’t understand how that can be achieved. I feel stuck in a dystopian novel.
