I have always found it amusing that leaders of countries and political organizations will arrange their public meeting rooms to have one or two portraits on the wall, nothing else, and a bunch of random ass seats.

Maybe it's the reality of meeting in a secret bunker beneath South Beirut, but this photo has a particularly "backrooms" kind of sparseness to it that makes me especially uncomfortable.
