The Gulf Coast Project utilizes the idea that local communities are ideally poised to respond to disasters in their own areas. This comes on the basis that they know their own needs most clearly and have a long-term stake in the community's well-being.

DA’s role in this project will be to tap into the previously acquired knowledge and skills, and ultimately connect small frontline groups with larger players such as logistics suppliers and in-kind donors. Currently, this project is in its initial stages. Stay tuned for more updates! 🚚
