This might’ve had some credibility if WAPO hadn’t recently stocked up on Murdoch allies and Trump wasn’t buying polling results.

Many of these polls still have 15-20% as undecided. And the models they use of the electorate matter greatly. In 2022 the GOP overall did much worse than predicted, likely due to pollsters still over-correcting for the so-called "shy Trump voter".
