Canadian friends recommended that we plan to immigrate and would be welcome in Canada and I had to gently remind them that Canada does not want people with chronic disabilities and would absolutely not welcome my family. We stay. We fight. We support our local underground open insulin lab.

For legal immigration? Nah, you're fucked. For coming here "on a vacation" or just smuggling yourself across the wide-ass open border, if you have a Canadian friend in the upper class echelon of society then they definitely own a summer home on a lake somewhere you can hide in.
