I’m going to blow your minds. You don’t even need impeachment and its supermajority requirement to remove a SCOTUS justice. You can remove them for bad behavior with a simple majority vote. It’s never been tested in court, but Chief Justice Rehnquist was among many who said it could be done.

And while I’m not sure being a terrible judge qualifies on its own, Justice Thomas and Kavanaugh have both committed pretty clear crimes while in office so…
