Preliminary obs. on Vaal Dam: this year has been drier than last year. At almost every site, we’ve seen a mix of Cyanobacteria, green algae, diatoms, and cryptophytes based on the Fluoroprobe. This differs from last year when one group or another dominated in different parts of Vaal Dam 🧪
