This is not true of the many people I know who have converted to Judaism. It is the Harvard syndrome: all Harvard grads seem obnoxious but that’s because it is only the obnoxious ones that make sure you know they went to Harvard.

That's because Judaism doesn't proselytize. YOU have to come to THEM. And you have to fight for it. You have to study, and prove yourself worthy by word, deed and blood. And anyone who acts like an ass gets told to chill out by the people, and if necessary, the rabbi.
