Also, maybe I might seem like a dummy but given the things that he did prior to the event, when he said he was exhausted, I believe him. I've definitely experienced that kind of burnout before.

But ultimately, I think if I would say he should retire due to his age, then this may be a reason to do so. That could be stressful for a person in their 30s. Doing all that stuff in your late 70's seems awful imo. It is risky.
