this looks promising, an actual xenomorph-focused alien movie instead of another about the deep lore of large white plastic people that no one's really invested in really hope it restores faith in the alien franchise

I hope it returns more to the focus of aliens being terrifying and adapting to new situations. It took the wind out of the sails for me when they over explained everything in Prometheus. Engineers are super boring too. Fear of the unknown doesn't work if we're given a morphology thesis...

Im very hopeful because I love the director and it definitely feels like a Return to Form a la An Actual Terrifying Horror Movie and not an action flick with horror themes

Looks like a 08/15 Alien movie to me. ...which is better than the last 2 entries. Hopefully they'll make the human characters interesting cause we know the Alien by heart by now.
