The Tour sometimes relays team radio on TV. I don't understand how they let DS's talk so much. As a rowing coach, I learned VERY quickly to keep any communication sparse, to the point, essential. As a rider, it has to be distracting, useless & infuriating to get this drivel blasted into your ear.

Plus you have third language English speakers talk to fourth language English listeners, on a creaky one-ear radio, in 40 km/h riding wind in a large bunch: "There may be rain half way in the stage. But not at the end. We will ask our people on the road what's up. OK see ya." (but 2 more sentences)
