I will check out Surfer Joe! Lots of great stuff doesn't reach the US. And I'll dig more into this Boulder group. I never thought of CO as producing Surf Rock but there were a lot of hippies in Boulder back in the day and I would like to be known for more than the Lumineers and Nate Rateliff...

Yeah! I think Surfer Joe are in the midst of a smallish US/Canada tour so may go that far?

Hell, even NM (my home state) has Beirut and the Shins (sorta) and the Handsome Family. Though NMH recorded their two albums in Denver so i guess I can claim that?
