When they have to lay down a suppressing line of fire to ensure their family can cross a road or smother their crying newborn while they’re hiding in a cellar from a government troops, they’ll long for the days of votes and protests. I suggest people read some fucking history books.

I've done many of these things and it works. I moved to another state and need to find new local organizations to support/volunteer. Today, I called my legislators. Even that small step changed my mood for the better.
