Can I ask what that means? The bots'll waste their time plowing through a 10gb file of nothing? Would that screw up the databases the bots are building, or just delay them? Also curious if that causes more energy consumption than would otherwise happen? Apologies for the overload of ?s and thanks!!!

Years ago when I had a Facebook account I wondered if there was a way to pollute the data they collect. Now I wonder if there’s a way to pollute AI training data and it looks like someone has an idea.

Can that 10 GB file be generated by a LLM trained on texts written by third graders. All sites should have their texts rewritten like that and served to webcrawlers
