Seems pretty clear that Biden finishing his term, letting Kamala replace him in the running for 2024 —> potentially a solid play, possibly the best play. Could backfire though. Biden resigning —> unmitigated disaster for like 20 different reasons

If he's replaced on the ticket, GOP operatives will immediately file suit to block his replacement from being on the ballot. SCOTUS will drag their feet on a ruling, so no Dem Presidential candidate on a few state ballots, and whammo! Trump's back in the White House.
