8/ Like Furries, trans and gay people, immigrants...whatever 'other' target can be lined up as a handy wedge issue. I'll remind y'all that American conservatives mostly didn't give a damn about abortion...until post 1973, when they realized it could be a proxy substitute for their Jim Crow racism.

9/ My questions (& they will infuriate some people): Did Tortoise Media get a conservative donation at any point in the development of this story? Were the 2 women paid off to bring their stories? Did anyone pay off NZ police to look the other way? Why did Neil not keep it in his pants?
