Only one doctor tested my insulin levels. I have hyperinsulinism. Why isn’t it part of a standard blood panel?

#Insulin measurements are useful if combined with #glucose concentration, and they should be done under defined conditions (fasting or in a dynamic glucose tolerance test). Certain calculations like #HOMA, #SPINA_Carb, #Matsuda_index etc. help to increase their diagnostic utility.
