I think you look at Paul’s later career you get a good idea of what later Beatles would have been like. Increasingly sentimental, often very simple pop. Occasional collaborations with “newer” artists and dips into new production techniques that result in bangers like youtu.be/5EeTkF-SLxE?...

I really liked Hope of Deliverance from McCartney. Much of his solo work though was quite not up to the stuff he wrote while in the Beatles.

I love McCartney solo and with wings. It just feels like he was having more fun on his own and was free to write a cheesy song or two without John making fun of him. That McCartney 2 album was basically him just screwing around with new synthesizers at home.
