Since Dan's on iOS, Safari supports the Ad Guard content blocking extension. Ad Guard DNS also has an ad and content blocking profile you can install on iOS and iPadOS that's very effective in all browsers and apps. I posted a reply to him with a screenshot from Firefox on iOS with no ads.

Brave also has built-in ad- and tracking-blocking as well. But, honestly, probably best to get away from Chromium. So, Firefox is a better option.
