The Anglo-Saxon Priory Church of St. Mary, Deerhurst, Gloucestershire - with Priory Farmhouse (once part of the original monastery). This area was the scene of the treaty between Canute and Edmund Ironside in 1016AD.

I always find it fascinating to see the remnants of a much older and steeper roof on the towers of many British, now lead covered, churches.
