What is with Dove selling full body deodorant and literally telling people, men and women, to put stuff in their nethers? Is it 1954?

i think this trend from the big companies (including dove) began because of the recent massive advertising campaign from that tiny, single-product company selling full body deo. they blitzed tv advertising for months, and then suddenly the big companies began advertising it too.
