I have several disabled friends (mainly folks with failing eyesight or cognitition) that use it, and as valid of a use as that all is, it doesn't change that it's rotten software from the core. It's harmful in all ways. I just don't think us disableds should be using it at all, either. It's a wedge.

The main problem outside of the vast amounts of resources it uses is that ALL of them are trained on images from people who did not consent to their work being used this way. Literally every single one. No way to change that unless they scrapped it all and started over, which they will never.

that's fair that you don't want them to use it at all. but I still don't think being super vocally against it towards people who really actually do deserve to use it is getting any real work done. you should be finding the AI bros on here and ripping them a new one
