I'm 100% in agreement with you about the risks, but the whole "government pushing maid on disabled people" is exaggerated. There have been a handul of it being offered it by idiots, such as this one (the agent was fired) and not a single case about maid having been applied inappropriately.

My biggest worry is the training for doctors on how to handle requests and, like you say, the lack of resources for people to be helped with their conditions.
