Jennifer Finney Boylan describes her somewhat similar maturation in “She’s Not There”. Adults shouldn’t have to go through a second adolescence. We should’ve been allowed to do it right the first time. Cuteness aside. Too many don’t survive. That’s why it’s so important to protect Trans youth.
