there was a tiny apple tree in there, which i loved, i would talk to it. and when a came around a turn and saw it with a bear gorging on the apples one fall i was like, at least SomeBODY else appreciates this tree... hiked up the creek all the way to a house 5 mi. up Sunshine Canyon...

i LOVED that trail... lived down the road a bit. late 70's i saw amazing stuff in there... bunch of coyotes treed a bobcat, they were so intent they didnt see me coming so the cat started coming down - great OMG moment then everybody, cat and dogs took off at a run...
