No I think that even the “normal” GOP justices think Dems are all Stalinists so even they don’t like Trump personally they want to protect him from prosecution because they believe he ultimately had his heart in the right place even if he is a bit uncouth

I meant more in the line of how expensive they seemed to make the exceptions, it did seem like they didn't have to go as far as they did in detailing when and where the president gets to be immune
