Related to this is the refusal to acknowledge that no all-white, pro-democracy ticket has won since Barack Obama came on the scene. Biggest mistake Hillary made was not picking a brown/Black VP, not sending Bernie Sanders to Wisconsin instead of going herself.

Loss was so close it was extremely overdetermined. You are likely 100% correct that these two moves would have won her a victory but there were also a dozen other things she could have done better that would have helped drag her across the line as well

After it was announced that Tim Kaine was the VP, I spent the rest of the cycle saying “WTH?” That was also my reaction to Gore’s pick for VP. Obama and Biden got their VP picks right and when Harris runs in 2028, I will cross my fingers that she gets it right, too.
