The reason why me & hubsy have a healthy, very active sexlife & high libidos is cuz we do not masturbate (alone) & instead do it together. We also don't watch any porn. We save all the sexual energy for each other. But that's just how our relationship works, it's not for everyone.

There are of course exceptions, but 99% of the time it's me asking if I can have an orgasm by myself for whatever reason. This is due to my hypersexuality & need for an occupational outlet. He always says yes. I say yes too.
