Once I went to a carnival in San Diego, and they had one of those tilt a whirl rides themed around “Magnum P. I.” for whatever reason. I’m still not sure why they chose that theme, but I thought it was beautiful: A chance to see the world through the eyes of TV’s Tom Sellick.
