I don't know how to do that, I just brute force things. It's probably why I'm as damaged now as I am.

I've been brute forcing it and having meltdowns for years. It took my partner having to deal with those meltdowns with no preparation or context as I had just accepted them as a cost of doing business that made me review whether that had to be true, and working with them to actually mitigate things.
