definitely. i think it was really telling that the interview that was dredged up recently pointed out that she was getting insular and pushing people away. and that was the early 2000s. i think she's a case study in love-bombing and self-radicalisation. it's become self-sustaining/reinforcing.

(she thinks) she's enough of a celebrity that she's locked herself away, and so whatever she reads online is more "reality" than what she actually experiences day-to-day. that's her own prison she's made. i swear she could walk in the street and just be a middle-aged woman. _but as for her ego..._
