I'm just wondering what's going to happen to America if the far right do take over the government. Will we transform into Russia or Nazi Germany overnight? Or is it going to be a slow boiling process where people are gradually brainwashed into accepting conservative reforms as normal?

In the wake of Dobbs, I saw scores of conservatives think that people would accept that as the new normal, and that no one really cared about abortion access. The true believers fool themselves, and think the people are with them.
