I eventually pulled it off with Hastein into a quick kingdom of thessaloniki. Easily the hardest achievement on the list in its current iteration IMO. Many others like lingua franca are mostly just a test of patience

Either that, or drive-by achievements that you'll pick up over the course of a couple playthroughs. CK3 achievements have (difficulty-wise) nothing on Vicky 3 achievements like American Territory--that one feels actually impossible.
