I'd also like to remind them that while it sucks, they can do a much better job of hiding than a lot of us trans can. You can be The gay person and completely hide if you have to. It's shit, but you can. If you are trans, you very likely can't. And there is something even worse...

When they come for you because of your race or your sexual preference or whatever, that's horrifying. But when they come for trans, they come to strip our very fundamental identity and then do the same thing to us as the others. We don't even get to die who we are. And nobody cares
