My parents survived the Holocaust. I grew up with a lot of darkness thanks to that and older siblings who were raised in post World War II Poland and — for a lack of a better term — are supremely fucked up. I’ve learned through life that one must never let pessimism consume you. Stay positive. 👍

My Polish grandparents survived Nazi labour camps in the war before moving to the U.S. Humanity has certainly been worse off, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't expect better at this point in time. Hence my struggles, lol.
