Let's say instead of an election, townspeople are gathering to help rebuild a neighbors home destroyed in a storm. If the home could be rebuilt without you, would you just stay home? Or would you go and help so that you aid the community?

I don't buy that analogy, but it'd depend on my opinion of the neighbor. Since I'd be happy for Biden or Trump to burn in hell (and prefer it be both) I'd stay home. Then burn the house down later if I could be sure to get away with it.
