No I don't think it's AI, it's just really poor fucking planning trying to milk as much work out of people for as cheap as possible

No it is ai in some cases. I know this because thats my job now. All our games next year are gonna go from 6 month production time to only five months. Because they expect us to do all the concept and art assets mostly with ai now.
