For that matter, I wonder if the surf that comes up from the southern ocean, isn’t better? Is Bells Beach better than Surfers’? (Speaking as a non-surfer; just the aesthetics of the waves.)

Defo colder at Bells - hurt my ears. Waves are bigger Surfers to Coolangatta g8 in Summer, water 20-24C Last good surf North is Agnes Waters just outside Bundaberg, then the Reef blocks all but massive cyclone swells Strop of Crocodile 🐊 Dundee fame used to have a Mansion there with helipad
