I literally keep a spreadsheet of the (futile) complaints I make on the LAPD fireworks complaint webpage. It started (in this neighborhood) on May 12. My dogs are freaked as usual but I feel worst for the birds and other urban wildlife. What kind of hell is this for them?

So sorry. It's not healthy for anyone, esp. in a dense or dry area. I won't be surprised if the parrots are on vacation tomorrow. They were absent for a month when we had a wildfire and bad air. I complained to my Supervisor one year and her staff contacted me to say it's AQMD's responsibility.
