Why would he resign just because he suspends his campaign? That seems like the least likely scenario out of all the scenarios. I know the logic behind it but I don’t think he really gives a shit about the implications.

That's my question too. Why would Biden resign? Just stay in office, run the country with competence, and Harris runs her presidential campaign with an occasional boost from the Prez. I think that would be a win-win for all involved if Biden wasn't running for another term.
