Yep. I had surgery for a detached retina last year, and a larger font isn't enough, at not least in this stage of recovery. I also need white text on a black background.
absolutely not arguing with the accessibility advantages of e-readers, i just wondered if you have any experience with braille/know how common or uncommon it is for ppl with varying degrees of visual impairment to know how to read it nowadays?
