When it was announced a few years ago that The Office was leaving Netflix, it was clear people of a certain age considered it a public utility

anecdotally, it’s still the like…default service that everyone has, people I know tend to dip in and out of the others (like Prime or Disney+) based on interest/budget but maintain a Netflix subscription as a standard baseline
